Occasional Wine Note: Vino Nobilie di Montepulciano has a long history of prestige, donning the tables of kings and nobility for centuries. Indieed, Thomas Jefferson referred to Vino Nobile di Montepulciano as: "For the present I confine myself to the physical want of some good Montepulciano…". We think that this Boscarelli would fit that bill quite nicely. We had an opportunity to visit this vineyard and have kept a stash of this wine in our cellar ever since. Good blend of red fruit and savory notes, balanced acidity and just the right tannin. This a fantastic wine to accompany your favorite Italian fare.

Precise and juicy in the main profile with notes of red flowers, blue plums and grapefruit peel. Medium-full body, velvety tannins that give shape to a precise, mature finish with full territorial expression. Drink now or age.

Polished and savory, this medium-bodied red opens with aromas of camphor, wild berry and new leather. On the linear palate, taut tannins accompany juicy Marasca cherry and licorice. Drink through 2025.
